Ghost Rockets
Supplies:
- White film canisters with snap-on lids (or any small pop-top canister)
- White paper (to decorate as ghosts)
- Black marker (for ghost faces)
- Tape or glue
- 1/2 tablet of Alka-Seltzer (or similar effervescent tablet)
- 2โ3 tablespoons water
- Optional: glow-in-the-dark stickers or glitter for extra spooky vibes
- Safety goggles (recommended)
Directions:
1. Cut white paper into small rectangles, wrap around the canister, and tape in place. Draw ghost faces with a black marker.
2. Fill the canister with 2โ3 tablespoons of water.
3. Drop in half an Alka-Seltzer tablet.
4. Quickly snap the lid shut, turn the canister upside down, and place on the ground.
5. Step back and wait a few seconds โ the โghostโ will launch into the air as the fizz builds pressure and pops the lid!
6. Repeat with different ghost designs for a whole spooky rocket crew.
