🍽️ Surf & Turf Box with Mac & Cheese and Asparagus
🥩 Grilled Steak
Ingredients:
2 ribeye or NY strip steaks (1–1.5” thick)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: garlic herb butter for topping
Instructions:
Season steak liberally with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Grill over high heat 4–5 mins per side for medium-rare.
Rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
🦐 Garlic Butter Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp butter + 1 tsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
Salt, pepper, paprika, and optional red pepper flakes
Squeeze of lemon juice
Instructions:
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sear in butter/oil over medium heat, 2–3 mins per side.
Add garlic during last minute, then finish with lemon juice.
🧀 Creamy Veggie Mac & CheeseIngredients:
8 oz elbow macaroni
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1½ cups shredded cheddar
½ cup mozzarella or Monterey Jack
½ cup chopped cooked broccoli & carrots (or mix-ins of choice)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
Instructions:
Cook pasta, drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour for 1 min.
Slowly add milk, whisk until thickened.
Add cheeses, then stir in cooked pasta and veggies. Season to taste.
🥦 Roasted AsparagusIngredients:
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
Instructions:
Toss asparagus in oil and seasoning.
Roast at 425°F (220°C) for 10–12 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
✅ Assembly Tips:
Plate steak with garlic butter drizzle.
Arrange shrimp alongside.
Scoop a generous portion of mac & cheese.
Line one edge with roasted asparagus.
Garnish with parsley and cracked pepper.
