Lobster Tail With Lemon, Garlic And Aleppo Pepper 🦞🍋🌶️
Ingredients:
- 2 lobster tails
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Aleppo pepper (or substitute with red pepper flakes for more heat)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 lemon, juice and zest
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high heat will help get the lobster tails succulent and crispy.
2. Start by preparing the lobster tails. Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the length of the shell, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shell and lift the meat slightly away from the shell while keeping it attached at the tail end.
3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Aleppo pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful butter sauce.
4. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush the prepared garlic butter generously over the lobster meat, making sure to coat it thoroughly. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly firm to the touch. If desired, you can broil them for the last couple of minutes to achieve a delicious golden top.
6. Once done, remove from the oven and let rest for a minute. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the lobster tails.
7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Pair with a fresh salad or some crusty bread to soak up the delightful flavors. Enjoy your meal!
