Creamy Custard Pie Slice 🥧✨
Ingredients:
1 pre-baked pie crust
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Cinnamon for topping (optional)
Directions:
1. Heat milk in a saucepan (do not boil).
2. In a bowl, whisk yolks, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla & salt.
3. Slowly add warm milk to egg mixture while whisking.
4. Return to pot and stir over medium heat until thick.
5. Pour into crust and smooth the top.
6. Chill for 2+ hours until set.
7. Sprinkle cinnamon before serving if desired.
