🇫🇷 French Steak and Fries (Steak-Frites) 🥩🍟
A French bistro classic—juicy steak paired with crispy golden fries!
📝 Ingredients:
2 beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
Salt & black pepper
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
500 g potatoes (cut into fries)
Oil for frying
Optional: fresh herbs or garlic butter
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Season steaks with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Heat butter and olive oil in a pan and sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side (adjust for doneness). Let rest.
3️⃣ Fry the potatoes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
4️⃣ Serve the steak with fries and a dollop of garlic butter or sauce of choice.
