No-Bake German Chocolate Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup shredded coconut, toasted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted (optional for drizzling)
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract; continue to beat until fully incorporated.
4. In a separate chilled bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
6. Fold in the toasted coconut and toasted pecans, reserving a small amount for garnish.
7. Pour the filling into the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
8. Sprinkle the reserved toasted coconut and pecans over the top.
9. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate chips over the pie for an extra chocolate touch.
10. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set before serving.
