🦞 Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta with Fried Lobster Tail 🍤🔥

📝 Ingredients:
For the Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or pappardelle pasta
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1/2 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
For the Fried Lobster Tail:
1–2 lobster tails, split and cleaned
1 egg + 2 tbsp milk (egg wash)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
Oil for frying
👨🍳 Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Fry the Lobster Tail
Preheat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Mix flour, cornmeal, and Cajun seasoning in one bowl.
Whisk egg and milk in another.
Dip lobster tail in egg wash, then dredge in flour mixture.
Fry 3–4 minutes or until golden brown. Drain and keep warm.
Step 3: Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan.
Add shrimp, season with half the Cajun seasoning, and cook 2–3 mins per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
Add sun-dried tomatoes and stir.
Pour in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, Parmesan, and crushed red pepper.
Simmer until thickened. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4: Combine & Plate
Toss pasta and shrimp into the sauce until well coated.
Plate with crispy lobster tail on top.
Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning.
