ONE-POT SPICY STEAK PENNE WITH CREAMY PARMESAN

Ingredients:

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
12 oz penne pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
3 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Toss steak slices with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Sear steak until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side), then transfer to a plate.
In the same pot, add onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and sauté another minute.
Add uncooked penne pasta and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce becomes rich and creamy.
Return steak to the pot and simmer for 2–3 more minutes to heat through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
