Seared Scallops in Garlic Butter Sauce 🦪🧄

A luxurious, buttery, and flavorful seafood delight!

📝 Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) large sea scallops
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lime or lemon wedges (for serving)
🍽️ Directions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Scallops:

Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
2️⃣ Sear the Scallops:

Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Pour in broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Combine & Serve:

Return the scallops to the pan, spoon sauce over them, and let simmer for 1 minute.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lime wedges.
