Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
¾ cup evaporated milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Preheat Oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, shredded coconut, evaporated milk, and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

3. Assemble the Pie:
Pour the prepared filling into the unbaked pie crust, ensuring it is spread evenly.

4. Bake:
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is fully set and the top turns a golden brown.
If the edges of the crust begin to brown too quickly, loosely cover them with aluminum foil to prevent burning.

5. Cool & Serve:
Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely at room temperature before slicing.
