Pecan Pie Dump Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
3. Stir in the chopped pecans evenly into the mixture.
4. Pour the pecan mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
5. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pecan layer.
6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix layer.
7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
