🍓 Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake 🍰
Ingredients
1 (21-ounce) can strawberry pie filling
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 large egg
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (15.25-ounce) box vanilla cake mix (dry mix only—do not prepare as directed on box)
10 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish if desired, though it’s optional due to the butter content.
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish. Gently fold in the fresh strawberry slices so they’re distributed throughout.
In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the softened cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla until completely smooth and lump-free—about 1–2 minutes.
Carefully dollop the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries, then use a spatula to gently spread it into an even layer without disturbing the fruit below.
Sprinkle the entire box of dry vanilla cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Avoid pressing down or stirring—just let it settle naturally.
Drizzle the melted butter uniformly over the cake mix, allowing it to seep through the dry layer.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling lightly.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. This allows the layers to set slightly for cleaner slices.
