Pecan Caramel Chocolate Clusters
Ingredients:
- 2 cups pecan halves (raw or roasted)
- 1 cup soft caramels
- 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramels and heavy cream or milk.
3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the caramel is fully melted and smooth.
4. Stir the pecan halves into the melted caramel until they are well coated.
5. Drop spoonfuls of the caramel-coated pecans onto the prepared baking sheet.
6. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the caramel to set slightly.
7. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 20-second intervals and stirring in between until smooth.
8. Drizzle or spoon the melted chocolate over the caramel-pecan clusters.
9. Return the baking sheet to the refrigerator and chill for another 20-30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
10. Once set, remove from the refrigerator and serve or store in an airtight container.

Tips:
Use roasted pecans for a deeper, nuttier flavor that complements the caramel and chocolate.
For easier caramel melting, cut caramels into smaller pieces before microwaving.
