Easy Cheesy Cruffins
Ingredients:
1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
Prepare the dough: Roll out the crescent dough and pinch the seams together to form a rectangle.
Add butter and seasoning: Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Add cheese: Evenly spread shredded cheese over the dough, then sprinkle with Parmesan.
Roll and cut: Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log. Slice into 6 equal pieces.
Bake: Place each piece into a muffin tin, cut side up. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes:
Add cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor.
Serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.
Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best texture.
