CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY CUPCAKES 🍓🍫

For the cupcakes:
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup of milk
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For coverage:
• 1 cup fresh strawberries, cut into halves
• 8 oz chocolate (dark or milk), chopped
• Sprinkles (optional for decoration)

1️⃣ Preheat the oven:
🔥 Adjust the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a tray of cupcakes with paper capsules.
2️⃣ Mix the dry ingredients:
🥣 In a large bowl, combine sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
3️⃣ Prepare the wet ingredients:
🍳 In another bowl, mix the eggs, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla extract until well integrated.
4️⃣ Join the mixtures:
✨ Little by little add the wet ingredients to the dry ones, mixing gently to avoid lumps. Do not overmix.
5️⃣ Incorporate the flour:
🌾 Add the all-purpose flour to the mixture and stir gently until the dough is smooth and thick.
6️⃣ Fill and bake:
🧁 Fill each cupcake liner up to ¾ of its capacity. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7️⃣ Cool:
🌬️ Remove the cupcakes from the oven and cool them completely on a rack.
8️⃣ Melt the chocolate:
🍫 Melt the chopped chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, or use a bain-marie to prevent burning.
9️⃣ Decorate:
🍓 Dip the top of each cupcake into the melted chocolate. Decorate with fresh cut strawberries and sprinkles if desired.
🔟 Let the chocolate harden:
Wait a few minutes before serving so that the chocolate solidifies.
