Dreamy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, softened
1 cup chocolate chip cookies, crushed
1/2 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate ganache
Directions:
Line a springform pan with parchment paper. Spread an even layer of softened chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream over the bottom of the pan.
Sprinkle a generous layer of crushed chocolate chip cookies over the ice cream and gently press down to secure. Freeze for 2 hours or until firm.
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the frozen cookie layer.
Drizzle the rich chocolate ganache over the whipped cream. Top with a scattering of chocolate chips for an irresistible finish.
Freeze the assembled cake for an additional 2–3 hours until fully set. Before serving, allow the cake to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften slightly. Slice and enjoy this luscious frozen treat!
