Baked Italian Sub Sandwiches
Ingredients (Makes 4 Subs):
- 4 sub rolls
- ¼ lb salami, thinly sliced
- ¼ lb ham, thinly sliced
- ¼ lb pepperoni or capicola, thinly sliced
- 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup banana peppers, sliced
- ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
For the Sauce:
- ½ cup Italian dressing
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Slice sub rolls and layer with salami, ham, pepperoni, cheese, banana peppers, and onions.
3. Mix the sauce ingredients and brush on the rolls.
4. Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese melts and rolls are golden.
5. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
