🇮🇹 Cinghiale in Umido (Wild Boar Stew) 🍷🍖
Rich, rustic, and deeply comforting—Tuscan-style wild boar stew.
Ingredients:
• 800g wild boar meat, cut into chunks
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 2 celery stalks, chopped
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 500ml red wine
• 200ml tomato purée
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 sprig rosemary
• Olive oil
• Salt and black pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Marinate the boar overnight in red wine with rosemary and bay leaves.
2️⃣ Drain meat and brown in olive oil. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ In the same pan, sauté onion, celery, carrot, and garlic.
4️⃣ Add tomato purée and paste, cook 5 minutes.
5️⃣ Return meat and add wine marinade. Simmer 2–3 hours until tender. Serve hot.
