Fresh Strawberry šŸ“ Cake With Frosting

**Perfect for Mother’s Day, so delicious!

~~Ingredients ~~
Cake⁠⁠:
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour⁠⁠
3 teaspoons baking powder⁠⁠
1/4 teaspoon salt⁠⁠
1 cup unsalted butter⁠⁠, room temperature
2 1/2 cups extra fine granulated sugar⁠⁠
5 large eggs
3/4 cup sour cream⁠⁠
1 tablespoon pure vanilla⁠⁠ extract
1 cup Buttermilk

⁠⁠Frosting⁠⁠:
3 cups heavy cream⁠⁠
1 (8 oz.) full-fat Philadelphia cream cheese, softened⁠⁠
2 teaspoons pure vanilla⁠⁠
1 cup extra fine granulated sugar⁠⁠
2 cups strawberries, chopped
⁠⁠
~~Instructions ~~
Cake⁠⁠:
Preheat oven to 325F. Prepare 3 / 9-inch round cake pans with non stick cooking spray. I use Bakers Joy.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl, set aside.⁠⁠
Beat butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy. Slowly add eggs and mix well until combined.⁠⁠
Stir in sour cream and vanilla. ⁠⁠
Add half of the flour mixture, stir until fully incorporated. Stir in milk.⁠⁠
Add the remaining flour, and stir until fully incorporated. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.
Divide the batter into the 3 pans and bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.

Frosting⁠⁠
Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy, scraping the sides. Add vanilla and sugar and beat on medium until fully incorporated.⁠⁠
Fold in chopped strawberries.⁠⁠
Gently fold in the whipped cream with a spatula.

Garnish with Strawberries how ever you like.
**Store in refrigerator **
