Fresh Strawberry š Cake With Frosting

~~Ingredients ~~
Cakeā ā :
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flourā ā
3 teaspoons baking powderā ā
1/4 teaspoon saltā ā
1 cup unsalted butterā ā , room temperature
2 1/2 cups extra fine granulated sugarā ā
5 large eggs
3/4 cup sour creamā ā
1 tablespoon pure vanillaā ā extract
1 cup Buttermilk
ā ā Frostingā ā :
3 cups heavy creamā ā
1 (8 oz.) full-fat Philadelphia cream cheese, softenedā ā
2 teaspoons pure vanillaā ā
1 cup extra fine granulated sugarā ā
2 cups strawberries, chopped
ā ā
~~Instructions ~~
Cakeā ā :
Preheat oven to 325F. Prepare 3 / 9-inch round cake pans with non stick cooking spray. I use Bakers Joy.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl, set aside.ā ā
Beat butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy. Slowly add eggs and mix well until combined.ā ā
Stir in sour cream and vanilla. ā ā
Add half of the flour mixture, stir until fully incorporated. Stir in milk.ā ā
Add the remaining flour, and stir until fully incorporated. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.
Divide the batter into the 3 pans and bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.

Frostingā ā
Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy, scraping the sides. Add vanilla and sugar and beat on medium until fully incorporated.ā ā
Fold in chopped strawberries.ā ā
Gently fold in the whipped cream with a spatula.
Garnish with Strawberries how ever you like.
