A delicious dessert combining creamy cheesecake and sweet strawberries.
📋 Ingredients
- 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box vanilla or yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
📝 Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top evenly.
6. Pour the melted butter over the dry cake mix evenly.
7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
8. Let cool slightly, then serve warm topped with fresh strawberries.
