🇮🇹 Bomboloni (Italian Donuts)
Soft, fluffy donuts filled with joy and covered in sugar—Italian-style indulgence!
Ingredients:
• 500 g all-purpose flour
• 50 g sugar
• 7 g dry yeast
• 2 eggs
• 200 ml warm milk
• 50 g butter (melted)
• Pinch of salt
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Oil for frying
• Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions:
1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm milk. Let sit 10 min.
2. Combine flour, salt, zest, eggs, butter, and yeast mixture.
3. Knead into a soft dough. Let rise 1 hour.
4. Roll out and cut circles. Let rest 30 min.
5. Fry until golden on both sides.
6. Drain and dust with powdered sugar.
