Baked Salmon with Lemon Butter Cream Sauce 🍋🐟✨
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Lemon slices, for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
3. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.
4. While the salmon bakes, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring well. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
6. Add the lemon zest, parsley, and Parmesan cheese (if using), stirring until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Remove the salmon from the oven and spoon the creamy lemon butter sauce over the top. Garnish with lemon slices and extra parsley.
