🍹 Blow Me Down Cocktail

🍍 Ingredients:
1 ½ oz dark rum (or spiced rum for a twist)
½ oz amaretto (optional, for a nutty depth)
2 oz orange juice (fresh or bottled)
1 oz pineapple juice
½ oz grenadine (for that sunset look!)
Ice cubes
Garnish:
Orange slice
Maraschino cherry
🍹 Instructions:
Fill the Glass:
Use a highball or Collins glass.
Fill it about ¾ with ice cubes.
Build the Cocktail:
In a shaker or directly into the glass, pour:
1 ½ oz dark rum
½ oz amaretto (optional)
2 oz orange juice
1 oz pineapple juice
Stir gently or shake lightly if you’re using a shaker.
Create the Sunset Effect:
Slowly pour ½ oz grenadine into the drink by letting it flow down the side of the glass or over the back of a spoon.
It will settle at the bottom, giving a layered, sunset effect.
Garnish & Serve:
Add a fresh orange slice to the rim.
Drop in a maraschino cherry.
Serve with a straw (optional) and enjoy!

Frozen version: Blend everything with crushed ice for a slushy-style cocktail.
Make it tropical: Add a splash of coconut cream for a creamier twist.
Mocktail version: Skip the rum and amaretto, use cherry juice instead of grenadine, and top with sparkling water.
