No-Oven Stovetop Bread - Don't Lose This Recipe 😋
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then stir in the milk and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a thick batter forms. Do not overmix.
Heat a nonstick skillet or greased pan over low to medium heat.
Pour the batter into the pan, spreading it gently to form a thick, even round (like a pancake, but thicker).
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 10–12 minutes, until the bottom is golden and the top starts to set.
Carefully flip the bread using a wide spatula, cover again, and cook for another 8–10 minutes until cooked through and golden brown on both sides.
Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
