Ingredients:

- 2 cups (480 ml) unsweetened plant-based milk (such as almond or soy)
- ¼ cup (20 grams) nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Pinch of turmeric for color (optional)

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the chickpea flour and plant-based milk until smooth to prevent lumps.
2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens significantly and pulls away from the sides of the pan. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the nutritional yeast, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and turmeric (if using). Mix well until everything is fully incorporated and the cheese is smooth.
4. Pour the cheese mixture into a heatproof container or mold.
