Mediterranean Layer Dip
Ingredients:
For the Layers:
1 cup hummus (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup Greek yogurt (or labneh)
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
1 cup cucumber, diced
½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ cup Kalamata olives, sliced
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp black pepper
For Serving:
Pita chips, naan, or fresh veggies
Directions:
Prepare the Yogurt Layer: In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt with lemon juice, garlic powder, dried oregano, and black pepper. Set aside.
Layer the Dip: Spread the hummus evenly on a serving platter or shallow dish. Top with the seasoned Greek yogurt, spreading it evenly.
Add the Toppings: Evenly sprinkle diced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, crumbled feta, red onion, and fresh parsley over the layers.
Finish with Olive Oil: Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil for extra flavor.
Serve & Enjoy: Serve immediately with pita chips, naan, or fresh veggies for dipping.
