OVEN BAKED RIBS

Ingredients:
2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4-5 lbs total)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup barbecue sauce (your choice)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 275°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding a knife underneath and peeling it off.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, chili powder, and smoked paprika (if using). Rub this spice mixture generously all over both sides of the ribs.
Place each rack of ribs on a large piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle a little apple cider vinegar over the ribs, then wrap them tightly in the foil to seal in the moisture.
Place the wrapped ribs on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bones.
Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce on both sides.
Increase the oven temperature to 425°F and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 10-15 minutes,
