🍒 Fruits Confits (Candied Fruits) 🍊🍋🍒
Sweet preserved fruits from Provence.
Ingredients:
• 500 g fresh fruits (cherries, apricots, orange slices)
• 600 g sugar
• 250 ml water
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1️⃣ Blanch fruits in boiling water, then cool.
2️⃣ Heat sugar, water, lemon juice until syrup forms.
3️⃣ Add fruits, simmer gently.
4️⃣ Let sit overnight in syrup.
5️⃣ Repeat process for 3–4 days, adding sugar each time.
6️⃣ Drain and let dry on rack.
