Pumpkin Delight
Ingredients:
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 prepared pie crust
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
5. Pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared pie crust.
6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
