🍫 German Chocolate Dump Cake 🍰
Ingredients

1 (18.25 oz) box German chocolate cake mix (dry, not prepared)
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, sliced into thin pats
Instructions

Prep the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
Layer the Base:
Pour the dry German chocolate cake mix evenly into the bottom of the pan—do not add eggs, oil, or water. This forms the cake’s foundation as it bakes.
Add Wet Ingredients:
Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake mix. Then, spoon the crushed pineapple (with its juice) on top, spreading gently to cover the surface.
Top with Coconut and Nuts:
Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans uniformly over the pineapple layer.
Add Butter:
Arrange the sliced butter in a single layer across the top. Do not stir—this is key to the dump cake’s magic.
Bake:
Place in the oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is deeply golden, the edges are bubbling, and the center appears set (a slight jiggle is okay—it will firm as it cools).
Cool and Serve:
Let the cake cool for at least 20–30 minutes before serving. It’s delicious warm or at room temperature, and pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
