A rustic dish from Auvergne made with potatoes and melted cheese. Crispy, golden, and irresistibly cheesy 🧀✨.
Ingredients:
• 1 kg potatoes, sliced
• 300 g Cantal cheese (or Tomme)
• 2 tbsp duck fat (or butter)
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• Salt & pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat duck fat in a skillet, add potatoes, and cook until golden and tender.
2️⃣ Season with salt, pepper, and garlic.
3️⃣ Add sliced cheese on top, let melt, then mix with potatoes.
4️⃣ Press into the pan to form a golden crust.
5️⃣ Flip once to crisp both sides, then serve hot 🍽️.
