🇫🇷 Daube Provençale 🥘🥕
A slow-cooked beef stew from Provence, rich in wine, herbs, and vegetables.
📝 Ingredients:
• 800 g beef chuck, cubed
• 2 cups red wine
• 2 carrots, sliced
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tsp thyme
• Salt and pepper
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Marinate beef in red wine with garlic and herbs overnight.
2️⃣ Brown beef in olive oil and remove.
3️⃣ Sauté onions and carrots, then stir in tomato paste.
4️⃣ Add beef, marinade, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
5️⃣ Cover and simmer on low for 2–3 hours until tender.
6️⃣ Serve hot with potatoes or crusty bread.
