Speculoos Cookie Truffles πͺπ«β¨
Ingredients:
200g Speculoos cookies, crushed into fine crumbs πͺ
100g cream cheese, softened π§
100g dark chocolate, melted π
1 teaspoon vanilla extract πΏ
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for extra sweetness) π―
150g dark or milk chocolate (for coating) π«
50g crushed Speculoos crumbs or chocolate shavings (for garnish) π°
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine those lovely crushed Speculoos cookies, the creamy softened cream cheese, melted dark chocolate, a splash of vanilla extract, and honey if youβre feeling sweet! Stir it all together until you have a smooth, delightful mixture.
2. Take small portions of your truffle mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. Place them neatly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Now, letβs get those beauties in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill!
3. While those truffles cool down, melt the chocolate for coating. Once it's perfectly melted, dip each chilled truffle, making sure to cover it in that luscious chocolate. After that, place them back on the parchment and sprinkle with crushed Speculoos crumbs or chocolate shavings for a fancy touch!
4. Pop those coated truffles back into the fridge for another 30 minutes to set the delicious coating. Once theyβre ready, serve them chilled and enjoy!
