🥩 Pan-Seared Glazed Lamb Chops with Gravy over Garlic Mashed Potatoes
These lamb chops are tender, well-seasoned, seared to perfection, and finished with a mouthwatering glaze that gives them that shine and sticky richness 😍🍯

📌 Ingredients:
For the Lamb Chops:

6–8 lamb chops (Frenched)

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper (to taste)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp dried rosemary (or fresh, chopped)

1 tbsp butter (for basting)

3 garlic cloves (smashed)

For the Sticky Glaze:

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tbsp butter

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes:

2 lbs russet or Yukon gold potatoes (peeled and cubed)

4 garlic cloves (boiled with potatoes)

1/2 cup heavy cream or milk

4 tbsp butter

Salt & pepper to taste

👨‍🍳 Instructions:Step 1: Season the Lamb

Pat lamb chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and rosemary.

Step 2: Sear the Lamb

Heat olive oil in a cast iron or heavy skillet over medium-high.

Sear lamb chops 3–4 minutes per side until browned and slightly crisp.

In the last minute, add butter and smashed garlic cloves, basting the chops.

Step 3: Make the Glaze

In a small pan, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, mustard, and soy sauce.

Simmer for 4–5 mins until reduced and sticky.

Whisk in butter to finish it off glossy and smooth.

Brush or drizzle glaze over the lamb chops just before serving.

Step 4: Make Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes and garlic in salted water until tender.

Drain and mash with butter, cream, salt & pepper.

Whip until smooth and creamy.

🍽️ Plating:Serve a big scoop of mashed potatoes, top with that rich gravy or meat drippings, and finish with those shiny lamb chops on top. Drizzle extra glaze if you're feeling fancy! 🤌✨
💡 Pro Tip: Want a restaurant-level char? Finish the lamb under a broiler for 1–2 mins after glazing to caramelize the top!
