Char-Grilled Octopus with Olive Oil and Herbs
Ingredients:
2 octopus tentacles, cleaned
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Simmer octopus tentacles for 45-60 minutes until tender. Drain and pat dry.
Preheat a grill or cast-iron pan to high heat.
In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush onto the octopus.
Grill tentacles for 3-4 minutes per side until lightly charred and caramelized.
Transfer to a rustic wooden platter, drizzle with extra olive oil, and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve warm with lemon wedges.
