From Amanda - Sunday Dinner today: Cooked 9 fried pork chops with pork chop gravy and cooked boiled cabbage before going to church service this morning & after returning home, I cooked fresh homemade biscuits, made fresh peach tea and re-heated leftover mashed potatoes, field peas & fried okra with relish tray. (Also had butterbeans you can see on the table, but they aren't shown on my plate, no more room 😃.) Had store bought coconut cake for dessert. (Also re-heated what I had cooked prior to going to church service.)
*Note: After I lightly browned the pork chops by frying, I placed them in 15x10 baking pan, lined with aluminum foil, and poured the pork chop gravy over them and covered them with foil, baking them for 50 minutes in a 375 oven and they become extremely tender cooked in the gravy. I made alot of gravy so they would be covered in gravy. So very delicious! Reminded me of eating at Grandma's house ❤️
