Savory Beef and Bowtie Pasta in Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup beef broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once it's at a rolling boil, cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions (typically around 8–10 minutes). Drain the pasta and set it aside.
While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Continue cooking until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes. Once done, remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, allowing it to release its aroma. Then, pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, cooking for 2–3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Stir in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese. Keep stirring as the cheese melts into the sauce, thickening it into a creamy texture.
Return the cooked ground beef and the drained pasta to the skillet. Stir well, making sure the beef and pasta are coated evenly with the creamy sauce. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until everything is warmed through.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve your creamy, cheesy Beef & Bowtie Pasta hot for a delicious meal!
