Banana Bread Butter ππ§
Ingredients:
2 overripe bananas, mashed π
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened π§
1/3 cup packed brown sugar π―
1 teaspoon vanilla extract π¨
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon πΏ
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg π
1/2 teaspoon salt π§
1/4 cup toasted chopped walnuts or pecans (optional) π°
Instructions:
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes π§.
Add the mashed bananas and continue mixing until fully incorporated. It may look slightly curdled at first, but keep beating π.
Mix in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, beating until smooth and well combined π―π¨πΏππ§.
If using nuts, gently fold them in with a spatula π°.
Transfer the banana bread butter to airtight containers or mason jars π―.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors blend and the texture set βοΈ.
