🥩🍝 Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce 🧄🧀

🛒 Ingredients:
For the Beef & Pasta:
1 lb (450g) ground beef or thinly sliced steak
10 oz (about 3 cups) rotini pasta
1 tbsp olive oil (if using steak)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup beef broth (or pasta water)
Optional: red pepper flakes or parsley for garnish
👩🍳 Directions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil rotini in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water if needed.
Cook the Beef:
If using ground beef: Cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
If using steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear beef slices until browned and cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Sprinkle in flour and whisk for 30 seconds. Slowly add cream and beef broth (or pasta water), whisking until smooth.
Add Cheese & Combine:
Stir in Parmesan until melted and the sauce thickens. Return beef to the skillet, then add cooked rotini. Toss everything together until coated in the creamy garlic goodness.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with parsley or a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat. Serve hot!
