Chicken carbonara.
Ingredients:
2-4 chicken breasts
5 stripes of bacon
1-2 cups sweet petite peas
Box of bow tie pasta
1/4 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup milk
1 cup chicken broth
3T flour
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan
Seasonings I used (optional make it comfortable for you)
Adobo
Tonys creole seasoning
Italian seasonings
Paprika
Garlic & onion powder
•slice your chicken breasts in half and season both sides. Cook on medium-high heat with 2T of olive oil
•brown your bacon
•boil your bowtie noodles
When those are done cooking set aside
•in a pan add your flour, heavy cream, milk, chicken broth and whisk on a medium - low heat until it starts to thicken. Then add your Parmesan cheese and peas whisk together until peas heat up. You can add some parsley, onion/garlic powder or Italian seasonings to your sauce for flavoring.
Once sauce is done fold in noodles and bacon. Cut chicken and stir in or place on top.
Tips: if you like bacon and chicken add more.
I used 1 cup of peas and it was enough for me but if you love them add in the second cup
If your sauce is too think add in a little milk until it’s your desired thickness.
If you make too much chicken its great for leftovers in salads, or with other side dishes for lunch 🤍
