Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 qt tomato juice
- 1 (29 oz) can tomato purée
- 1 (15 oz) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- Spices: cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano, sugar, cayenne
Directions:
1️⃣ Brown beef; drain fat.
2️⃣ Combine all ingredients in a 6-quart pot.
3️⃣ Simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring every 15 min.
Slow cooker option: 3-4 hours on low.
