Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie Cups
Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with icing)
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- Icing from cinnamon roll can (for drizzling)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
2. In a medium bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss to coat evenly.
3. Separate cinnamon roll dough into individual rolls and flatten each roll into a circle.
4. Press each dough circle into the muffin tin cups, forming a cup shape.
5. Spoon the apple mixture into each dough cup, dividing evenly.
6. Drizzle melted butter over the apple filling.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before drizzling with cinnamon roll icing.
