Creamy Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients for the crust:
• 200 g (about 2 cups) chocolate biscuits or Oreo crumbs
• 80 g (6 tbsp) melted butter

For the filling:
• 500 g (about 2 cups) cream cheese, softened
• 200 g (1 cup) sugar
• 200 g (7 oz) dark chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
• 200 ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

For decoration (optional):
• Whipped cream
• Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
2. Mix the biscuit crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill for 10 minutes.
3. For the filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
4. Stir in melted chocolate and heavy cream until creamy.
5. Pour the mixture onto the crust and smooth the top.
6. Bake for about 45–50 minutes, until the center is just set. Turn off the oven, open the door slightly, and let it cool inside.
7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (better overnight).
8. Decorate with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
