5 g paprika (1 tsp)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
8 slices Texas toast (thick white bread)
200 g cheddar or American cheese, sliced
30 g unsalted butter, softened (2 tbsp)
Preparation Steps
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small crumbles. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and sauté 4 minutes until softened.
Mix in ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer 6–8 minutes until thickened.
