Halloween Window Clings
Supplies:
- 1 bottle white school glue (like Elmer’s)
- Food coloring or liquid watercolor (orange, black, purple, green)
- Wax paper or plastic sheet protector
- Paintbrushes or squeeze bottles
- Optional: glitter for sparkle
- Permanent marker (for outlining shapes)
- Printable Halloween templates (pumpkins, bats, ghosts, etc.)
Directions:
1. Place wax paper or a plastic sheet protector on a flat surface. Slip a Halloween template underneath if desired.
2. Outline your shapes on the wax paper using black-tinted glue (mix glue + black food coloring). Let the outlines dry slightly.
3. Fill in the shapes with colored glue mixtures (orange for pumpkins, white for ghosts, purple for witches’ hats, etc.).
4. Sprinkle glitter for extra sparkle while still wet.
5. Let dry completely overnight until the glue is no longer tacky.
6. Gently peel off your designs and press onto clean glass windows or mirrors.
7. To reuse, store flat between sheets of wax paper.
