Penne in Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
4. Toss the pasta in the creamy mushroom sauce until coated.
5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.
