Pioneer Woman Cheeseburger Pie
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bisquick or other baking mix
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
Optional: pickles, ketchup, or tomato slices for serving
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, mustard powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
Spread beef mixture evenly in the pie dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
In a separate bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until well combined.
Pour the batter evenly over the beef and cheese mixture in the pie dish.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with pickles, ketchup, or a side salad if desired.
