Easy Apple Cobbler
Ingredients:
- 15.25 ounces butter cake mix
- 42 ounces apple pie filling (2 cans)
- 8 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 ½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice (or ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon and ½ teaspoon nutmeg)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the apple pie filling with the lemon juice, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice. Stir well to mix the flavors.
3. Pour the apple mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
4. Sprinkle the dry butter cake mix evenly over the apple filling.
5. Cut the salted butter into small pieces and scatter them evenly over the cake mix.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
