Crispy Chicken Tenders with French Fries
Ingredients:
500g boneless chicken breast, sliced
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup flour
1 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
For French Fries:
3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
Salt
Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Chicken:
Soak chicken strips in buttermilk, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
2. Coat the Chicken:
Mix flour, cornflakes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken in the dry mix.
3. Fry Chicken:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan. Fry chicken until golden and crispy (about 5–6 mins).
4. Prepare Fries:
Rinse cut potatoes, pat dry, and fry until golden. Season with salt while hot.
5. Serve Hot:
Plate chicken tenders with fries and your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
