Clam Chowder
A rich and creamy New England-style soup loaded with clams, potatoes, and a flavorful broth.

Ingredients:

4 slices bacon, chopped
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 potatoes, diced
2 cups clam juice
1 cup heavy cream
2 cans (6.5 oz) chopped clams
1 tsp thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:

Cook bacon in a pot until crispy. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in the bacon fat.
Add potatoes, clam juice, and thyme. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
Stir in clams, heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish with bacon and serve hot.
